The Zoo Page

Here's a brown bear playing in the snow. They were doing something called an interaction were the zoo people play with the animals and this bear got to play in the snow. I think the zoo people hide food under the snow and the bear digs around and tries to find it.

This black bear is digging in a tree truck trying to get at some food that was hidden inside of it. He was digging around for a while until he got to it. This was probably the best part of the day, before this all the bears were sleeping. Just like the lions on the next page.

We were lucky enough to see one of the two panda bears at the San Diego Zoo. There was a long line and everyone was crowding along the rail. It was hard to get in a shot but Mel snapped this picture before he walked to the back and sat behind the bamboo.
