San Diego Zoo

Way back in the summer of 1997 I went to the San Diego Zoo with my friends Rod and Melani and brought along my camera so I could show everyone what animals I saw at the zoo. I don't remember all the names of the animals but when I remember, find out, or someone tells me then I'll add it. So test your zoo knowledge and tell me if I goofed. We saw a few different bears at the zoo, a koala bear, polar bear, black bear and brown bear. The polar bears are really neat. The San Diego Zoo has the Polar Bear Plunge and you get to see the bears swim in the water, jump in, and play around.

		I was able to get a couple pictures of them playing in the water, here's a shot of one of the bears after jumping into the pool.

There was a ball in the pool and they keep jumping in and grabbing it. They sure like to play. Before we left we went up top and saw the bears walking around. Topside looks great, there's a waterfall and a little stream. On the right are a couple bears walking around near the waterfall.
