It's a rare day when I get to meet someone famous so when
I do and get some pictures taken, they will be put here.
|
To start things off I have my meeting with Lisa Loeb at the Consumer Electronics
Show in Las Vegas January of this year. Sirius Satellite Radio had different artists perform
on a stage at their booth during the show. My friends and I found out about these performances
just in time to see the end of Alanis Morissette's set and ample time to get a great spot for
Lisa's.

During her first couple of songs I took a few pictures then switched to video
just in time to record her singing "Stay (I missed you)". Before the song she talked about
all the people with digital cameras and illegal digital video recording. To my surprise
Lisa directed this toward me and asked if she can have a copy for her website. I told her sure
and then she started.

I recorded all of this and have a link at the bottom of the page to the
clip. Lisa signed autographs and took pictures after her performance. I thanked her for
putting me in the spotlight and we had a laugh about a lawsuit. At least I hope she was joking :)
